For children, music education is a joyful excursion into another world. What kids don't know, but researchers and educators do know, is that there are also strong correlations between quality music education and the development of mathematical skills, creativity, academic performance, self-esteem and a sense of community.
Unfortunately, instrumental and choral music have been missing from the curriculum at many of our public schools. FAME is successfully working to change that.
